Billiard Tables
A Pool Table is rectangular. The surface of the table is covered with a green cloth. Although there are variations in the shape of the Table Billiard tables and novelty found in hexagonal, round, and forms a zig-zag, the traditional rectangular shape is the most popular. The rails of the table are raised and padded to facilitate the rebound of the spheres. There are two types of tables, billiard tables with pockets and tables without pockets. Tables with pockets are referred to as pocket billiards and These tables usually have six pockets that collect the balls. Of the six pockets, four are the four corners of the rectangular table and two pockets are located opposite each other in the middle of the long sides of the table. Pockets in the corner are designated as corner pockets and pockets in the center of the long sides are known as side pockets.
