Blocker Catcher

What position could I play?

I know this is lame, but I need some advice. I'm new to rugby as an adult reader and before entering a teams that want to give the coach an idea of what the position might be able to play. I'm 6'5 "and weight 270 pounds. I played goalie football for the last few years. When I was younger I played Tight End in American Football (both pass catcher and blocking offensive line). only serious answers. Please.

At that height and weight that fit perfectly with the number 8. 8 A number of work is to be slim around the camp, but tight defense. You should be fit enough to do Rucks and a large percentage of bat and should be in competition with the opposition Openside flanker and No 8 for the ball. Lock and prop are other possibilities, but here my reasoning have you on either. A block is usually a lineout jumper. If you're not a lineout jumper block then you're kinda a burden to the team. Keep in mind that your props, which are big boys and make a lot of work pack horse around the field (this is my position), you will have to raise every lineout. A 270 £ (approx 120kg?) Full're a big and would be a hard life almost point to the middle end of the game. Regarding prop, you'd be bloody high in that position to begin with, that could work either for the benefit of your Scrum and disadvantage. The main problem here is the amount of knowledge that goes into a fundamental pillar. It 'a great coach, specialized position. Thus, number 8, if possible. If you can then lock or proposal are the possibilities. Best of luck mate.

Today the baseball catcher is a familiar but uninspiring figure. Decked out in the so-called tools of ignorance, he stolidly goes about his duty without attracting much attention. But it wasn”t always that way, as Peter Morris shows in this lively and original study. In baseball’’s early days, catchers stood a safe distance back of the batter. Then the introduction of the curveball in the 1870s led them to move up directly behind home plate, even though they still wore no gloves or protective equipment. Extraordinary courage became the catcher’’s most notable requirement, but the new positioning also demanded that the catcher have lightning-fast reflexes, great hands, and a cannon for a throwing arm. With so great a range of needed skills, a special mystique came to surround the position, and it began to seem that a good catcher could single-handedly make the difference between winning and losing.
