best solution for the bridge popsicle stick?
I need to make a popsicle stick bridge for a physics project. should be 90-92 cm long, with a bunch (routes) that is at least 7 cm wide. the maximum weight should be 200g. We are also allowed to use the card if I do not want to use popsicle sticks the entire bridge. What is the best way to build (ie, drawings, dimensions)? What is the best way to ensure that the bridge can hold a large amount of weight without breaking or bending? the bridge should be supported by two banks that are far apart, and then to test its strength, weights are placed at the center of bridge.
If I were you I would build a box beam. Make four places, with multiple layers of interlaced sticks. these are the four corners of the beam. Then place ice diagonal sticks on the sides of the box to complete the beam. Then smooth the top with sticks through the beam. L 'u can use more sticks to make four posts, diagonal as it is produced, and the higher your range box, the stronger will.
