Monday, March 15th, 2010What are my chances of getting into NYU?
I am in Grade 10, and I really want to get into a great university, I'd get into NYU. But I do not know if I am qualified. I had a 3.4 my freshman year and I hope to get a GPA 3.9 (of 4.0, Michigan) at least, am I in any sport, and going to join a few years this I take chemistry, intro english 10, to computer shop, Spanish 2, world history, and geometry. In my first year I took biology, English 9, Algebra 1, gym, computer, us history, and Spanish 1. I get in power if I can maintain my aim? Even my school (high school Bridgeport Michigan) could be cutting classes AP and I was going to take AP classes ….. cheap bastards ps. I plan to enroll in college duel delta (this is where my school paid for me to take lessons at College, which do not offer to my school. SO …. I get college credit while in high school) will help?
Hey! Are the second year of high school too. NYU is my dream school too. My school happens to be one of the most competitive colleges in the State of New York. From where I stand, I think I'm going to give you a little 'of critiscm hard. I think we should step up Your Game a bit 'because I see that you have not listed yet honors classes. I would recommend that next year to move in Algebra II / Trig honors, instead of regular hours I'm taking that class. If you pass the class honors, I tell you from personal experience that you study better because I have the honors study in geometry last year, so I thought that there was no need to study this year either, but this kind of mentality that I so off. You need to study. Secondly, I recommend that you obtain the services of volunteers as a. Continue taking Spanish throughout high school years. As of now I'm in Spanish 3, ugggh this year I have to take the regents. For you, I recommend that you do well in Spanish in order to have a good solid base of Spanish. I think that is really good that we brought the class of machine shop, because then it shows some kind of interest in a specific topic. For myself, I decided to take drawing and painting, I'm not so good, but I just took, because I like to do it, and to show colleges that I have and interest in the arts. Also, try to be a member activities of some of the clubs that are at your school. Conselour my guide told me not to overload the amount of clubs that I have, because he said that colleges want to see that is blocked with 2-3 teams and that you were an active participant in that club. YEAH! Surely these college credit will help! I wish our Scholl, who has offered. Well After all, my school offers more AP, what kind of count as college credit for some colleges. However, some colleges might not accept AP as credit, so do not know if are willing to accept such claims regect or university. Never mind, in your case probably accept because it is actually in college AA. Is your school is competitive? I heard that sometimes you pull a school rankings to see if the school went to challening was enough. You live in Michigan right? I assume you've seen atleast law at the University of New York? Please say yes to these questions, because you really need to visit a school before you say that you want to go. If you go to NYU, one important thing that you must learn is the system of bus and underground subway. You have to learn to use these systems because Metro is not only NYU in one area, the buildings for the school are different throughout the city (at least that's what I know from my knowledge). One last thing, I think we both are are preparing for our SAT, because apparently are important factors determining whether or not to enter You should also start thinking about what you want to major in college too. If you get accepted, I say you are going to love the city. I Love it everytime I go! It 'so much fun and there such a variety of people. I love it. If you have more questions, feel free to write me. * Sorry this reply is so long.
